2025 Tax Increase

Purpose

Like Thomas Jefferson, I believe citizens of a constitutional republic must educate themselves about their government. Government agencies, in turn, should be transparent and provide clear, timely information to the public.

While reviewing public comments on last year’s property tax increase, I noticed misconceptions about how county government operates and how past decisions have shaped current policies. To empower residents, over the next few weeks I will publish a series of posts covering on the following
